Hi, I’m Laura and I’m a Freelance Photographer specialising in portraits and styled photo shoots.
I have always had an passion for styling and design and this was enhanced by studying a Design degree at Central St Martins in London.
My work is strongly influenced by the visual contrast of the gritty urban city streets with the wild hills of Wales.
Styling photo shoots with an edgy contrast is something I particularly enjoy.
My passion for photography grew through taking photographs of my children. Endeavouring to capture those precious moments in a creative way. My two boys have been very [im]patient muses and I have certainly learned a lot about shooting family photography from them.
Characterful and natural portrait shots are the essence of my work.

Laura makes everyone look really flipping good. Seriously.
To say we are happy with our family photos is an incredible understatement. We never had professional photos taken of us because we didn’t think we were “professional photo type people” (if that makes any sense or is even a thing). The thought of posing for an hour sounded painful. Well, it was anything but. It was actually fun. Laura is incredibly easy going and we were at ease pretty much from the get-go. She captured us, but a really really nice version of us! We are positively thrilled with the photos and we will definitely be booking her again. She’s just awesome.

Laura is an incredible photographer, me and my band had a photoshoot with her on Sunday and we all had a great time! Laura is so friendly and she instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed which makes posing for photos a heck of a lot more chilled out.
